Samsung announced it has sold 1 million Galaxy Tabs in just over 1 month since launch. They have now resided the EOY goal to 1.5 million units! Lee Young-Hee, Head of Marketing at Samsung's Mobile Division, was reported by Yonhap News as saying, "We were able to achieve 1 million global sales as initial supplies ran out quickly around the world after the Galaxy Tab’s launch".
Why is this great news for all of us Galaxy Tab owners? Great adoption for a device means better long term support, firmware upgrades, etc. It also increases the amount and quality of accessories we'll see in the marketplace. Good for Samsung and us! :)
